Pass orders straight into the Deposco warehouse platform, with shipping codes and SKUs already translated to what it expects.

The Deposco fulfillment integration connects UltraCart to the warehouse software that runs your fulfillment operation, rather than to a warehouse you rent space in. Orders leave UltraCart with the shipping service code and the SKU already resolved to the values Deposco expects, so they arrive ready to pick instead of landing in an exception queue.

Deposco is a supply chain platform spanning warehouse management, distributed order management, shipping and parcel management, demand and inventory planning, and AI-driven operational analytics. More than 3,000 ecommerce and DTC businesses run on it, guiding over $10 billion in sales and more than 69 million consumer orders a year. Its customer base includes brands operating their own distribution centers and the third-party logistics providers those brands hire, which is why one integration serves both situations.

A warehouse system is only as good as the data reaching it. Send a shipping method it does not recognize and the order stalls. Send a SKU it cannot match and the order stalls again, usually discovered when a customer writes in asking where their package is. Deposco is deliberate about this, requiring an explicit custom code for every shipping method instead of accepting a free-text service name, and UltraCart mirrors that discipline: you enter the codes Deposco gives you against each shipping method, map any item whose ID differs from its Deposco SKU, and the translation then happens on every order without further attention.

Setup here is credential-based rather than key-based. A Deposco distribution center takes a username, a password, a three-character Deposco Code, and a separate three-character Business Unit, and that last value is what lets a single UltraCart account address several Deposco operations independently. Each distribution center carries its own credentials and its own shipping code table, so a brand running an east coast and a west coast facility, or splitting volume between an in-house warehouse and a contracted provider, configures them side by side. Items whose UltraCart ID already matches the Deposco SKU need no mapping at all, which keeps the setup work proportional to how far the two catalogs have actually drifted.

  • Software, Not a Warehouse: Deposco is the system your fulfillment runs on, so the same integration works whether you operate the building yourself or contract a provider who runs Deposco for you.
  • Shipping Codes Translate On Every Order: Each UltraCart shipping method carries the custom code Deposco issued for it, so the service a buyer chose is the service the warehouse reads.
  • SKU Mapping Only Where It Is Needed: Items whose UltraCart ID already matches the Deposco SKU require no setup. Only the ones that diverge get an explicit mapping.
  • One Account, Several Business Units: Business Unit codes let a single UltraCart account drive multiple Deposco operations, each with separate credentials and its own shipping code table.
  • Ship Central Rides the Same Path: Merchants fulfilling through Ship Central configure it on the Deposco transmission mechanism, which is UltraCart's recommended route for that provider.

deposco FAQ.

Is Deposco a warehouse or a software platform?

A software platform. Deposco covers warehouse management, order management, planning, and analytics, and you connect UltraCart to the Deposco system that runs your fulfillment. That works the same whether you operate the warehouse yourself or contract a provider who runs Deposco.

How do I connect Ship Central to UltraCart?

Through the Deposco transmission mechanism. UltraCart recommends configuring Ship Central on Deposco rather than as a separate mechanism, because that path is what keeps communication between the two systems correct.

What credentials does the Deposco integration need?

Four values: your Deposco username, your Deposco password, a three-character Deposco Code, and a three-character Business Unit that must differ from the Code. All four come from your Deposco account dashboard, and Deposco Support can locate the Code and Business Unit if you cannot find them.

My orders are not transmitting to Deposco. What should I check?

Almost always a shipping method code mismatch. Deposco requires every shipping method to carry a custom code it recognizes, entered on the Other tab of the UltraCart shipping method under Custom Shipping Method Codes. Ask your Deposco account representative for the valid code list and confirm each entry matches.

Do I have to map a SKU for every item?

No. If an UltraCart Item ID already matches the Deposco SKU, nothing is needed. Only items whose IDs differ require a Deposco SKU on the Fulfillment tab of the item editor.

Can one UltraCart account drive more than one Deposco warehouse?

Yes. Create a distribution center for each Deposco operation, each holding its own credentials and shipping method mappings. The Business Unit code keeps them addressed separately.
