platform update

February focused on two areas that directly affect how you understand and manage your business: deeper attribution data for marketing spend, and more flexible auto order workflows for subscription commerce. Alongside those, integrations got cleaner, the Visual Builder picked up new condition components, and the AI Report Builder became more transparent.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Attribution Analysis — Server-Side Integration Logs: Attribution Analysis now includes server-side integration logs for 11 advertising platforms: Facebook Conversion API, Google Measurement Protocol, TikTok, Twitter/X, Snapchat, Pinterest, Taboola, Everflow, Hyros, Northbeam, and Wicked Reports. You can now see exactly what data is being sent to each platform and verify that your conversion events are firing correctly — no more guessing whether the server-side handoff worked.
  • AI Report Builder — Streaming Thinking: When the AI Report Builder generates a report, you can now watch its reasoning process in real-time. Instead of waiting for a finished result, you see the AI's thinking as it works through the data, making it easier to understand how conclusions were reached and to catch issues early.
  • AI Report Builder — Priority Weighting: Reports now consider priority weighting (high, medium, low) when analyzing data, so the most important metrics and dimensions get appropriate emphasis in the output.

Order Management

  • Auto Order Properties & Add-Ons: Auto orders now support top-level properties, item-level properties, and item-level add-ons. New convenience REST API methods make it straightforward to attach and manage these programmatically — useful if you need to store custom data on recurring orders or include configurable add-ons with each billing cycle.
  • Auto Order Cancel Reasons: Cancel reasons have been upgraded from simple text fields to a richer object model. This lays the groundwork for displaying structured cancellation data in the customer-facing MyAccount area, giving you better insight into why subscribers leave.
  • Auto Order Hold Before Shipment: New logic allows orders to be placed on hold before they enter the fulfillment pipeline. REST API methods to release held orders give you precise control over when an auto order actually ships — helpful for quality checks, inventory holds, or coordinated release schedules.

Integrations

  • PayPal Crypto: Merchant gating has been removed. PayPal cryptocurrency payments are now available to all eligible accounts without requiring special enrollment or feature flags.
  • ShippingEasy: Fixed an Integer-to-Long type issue for system values, and tracking numbers are now trimmed of whitespace to prevent lookup failures caused by extra characters.
  • BigCommerce: Bug fix for variation distribution center SKU mapping, ensuring the correct SKU is sent when products have multiple variations across distribution centers.
  • Cerbo: Unicode characters are now stripped from data sent to Cerbo to prevent integration errors that occurred when product names or descriptions contained special characters.
  • Zoho Desk Classifier: Improved logging, status handling, and fallback behavior when AI-powered ticket classification fails. The classifier now degrades gracefully instead of stalling the ticket routing pipeline.

Communications & Marketing

  • StoreFront Communications — SMS Events: Additional SMS events are now supported in the StoreFront Communications system, expanding the triggers available for automated SMS flows.
  • Customer Activity — SMS Tracking: SMS and SMS-stop fields have been added to customer activity tracking, so you can see SMS engagement and opt-out status alongside email and browsing activity.
  • Outbound Email Tracking: Improved tracking coverage for outbound emails across auto order edits, cancellation queries, digital delivery post-processing, gift certificate payment post-processing, and Platform Purple post-processing. These events are now properly logged for deliverability monitoring.

StoreFronts

  • Visual Builder: Card Logos: Payment card logo artwork has been modernized with updated designs that reflect current brand guidelines from the major card networks.
  • Visual Builder: Custom Field Conditions: New CheckoutCustomFieldCondition and OrderCustomFieldCondition components allow you to show, hide, or modify Visual Builder elements based on custom field values — adding another layer of conditional logic to your storefront pages.

Item Management

  • Item Import — Change Item IDs: A new "new item id" column in the item import lets you change existing item IDs via bulk import. Previously, changing an item ID required manual edits in the backend — now it can be handled in a single import file alongside other updates.

Shipping & Fulfillment

  • USPS: Additional international envelope package types have been added, expanding the available USPS shipping options if you ship lightweight items internationally.

Backend UI

  • Bulk Operations Permissions: A new permissions system for bulk operations gives administrators finer control over which team members can execute bulk actions — reducing the risk of accidental mass changes.
  • Auto Order Notification Layout: The auto order notification page layout has been cleaned up for better readability and a more consistent look with the rest of the backend.

CRM

  • Customer Profile Import: Bug fix for shipping and billing address imports, resolving an issue where certain address fields were not mapping correctly during bulk customer imports.

February's updates strengthen the data and workflow layers you rely on daily — from knowing which ad platforms are receiving accurate conversion data, to controlling exactly when a subscription order ships.
