aMember Pro is a self-hosted membership and subscription management script developed by CGI-Central, in active development since 2002. It runs on your own server, giving you full ownership of your customer data and protected content. With over 200 integrations spanning 100+ payment systems and direct connections to WordPress, Drupal, phpBB, vBulletin, and other CMS platforms, aMember is trusted by publishers and content creators who need flexible membership tiers with complete control over their infrastructure.

Without a direct integration, selling memberships through a shopping cart means manually creating accounts in aMember after each purchase — a process that delays content access and creates support tickets from frustrated buyers. The UltraCart aMember integration eliminates that friction. When a customer completes checkout, UltraCart calls aMember's REST API to automatically create the user account and apply the subscription for the duration you specify — 30 days for monthly, 365 for annual, or any custom interval. Your members get access immediately, and you never touch a manual provisioning step.

UltraCart handles the commerce side — payment processing, recurring billing on whatever schedule you set (monthly, quarterly, annually), automatic retry for failed payments, and dunning management to recover declined cards. aMember handles the membership side — content protection, access levels, drip content, and member management. The integration connects through aMember's Remote API with full permissions, and setup takes minutes through UltraCart's item editor where you map each product to its corresponding aMember membership level and duration via the Digital Delivery tab.
