Answer chargebacks automatically, with evidence built from your own order, delivery, and subscription records.
DisputeDash brings chargeback automation to UltraCart. When a dispute opens at your processor, DisputeDash pulls the order, delivery, subscription, and customer records from your UltraCart account, assembles the evidence package, and submits it to the processor before the deadline. You can review every packet before it goes out, or let it run untouched, and that choice is made per brand rather than for your whole operation.
DisputeDash was built inside a multi-brand ecommerce operation that was handling thousands of chargebacks a month and losing disputes it should have won. Every evidence type and every integration was tested against real disputes on real deadlines before the product was sold to anyone.
Worked by hand, a single chargeback is most of an afternoon: find the order, read the reason code, pull carrier tracking and proof of delivery, dig the customer's emails out of your helpdesk, write a rebuttal that addresses the specific code, and file it before a deadline the bank set for you. Most merchants fight a few properly and let the rest expire, which is the same as conceding them. DisputeDash removes the collection work entirely, because the evidence already sits in systems it is connected to. It matches up to 15 evidence types to the reason code on the dispute, including carrier tracking and proof of delivery, order details and invoices, payment authorization records, customer support history, subscription and billing history, and your own policies.
The UltraCart integration goes well past a read-only order lookup, because it writes back into your account as well as reading from it. DisputeDash can add a disputing customer's email address and card to your UltraCart fraud filter, so the same person is blocked from ordering again, and it can block the disputed order from being refunded, so nobody on your team accidentally refunds a charge you are already fighting. DisputeDash's own documentation states that UltraCart is the only checkout platform where both of those run automatically rather than as a manual reminder. It also reads auto order history, which turns a subscription customer's full billing record into evidence on a rebill dispute, and it reconstructs order numbers when a processor reports them stripped of their formatting.
It reads your order details, delivery and tracking records, subscription and auto order billing history, and customer records, then matches them to the reason code on the dispute. It also writes back, adding fraud filter entries for disputing customers and blocking the disputed order from being refunded.
It submits evidence directly to the processor holding the dispute, and supported processors include Stripe, Braintree, PayPal, Adyen, Checkout.com, Square, Klarna, PayArc, Finix, and Airwallex. A flat monthly fee based on your dispute volume, not a percentage of what it recovers, so the money it wins back stays with you. There is also a free analytics tier with no card required, which lets you see your own win rates before automating anything. [VERIFY Q9: confirm current plan pricing and the free tier terms.]
No. You can run in review mode, where every evidence packet is visible and editable before it is submitted, or in full auto. The setting is per brand, so you can automate one storefront while reviewing another.
Yes, and this is where the UltraCart connection matters most. DisputeDash reads your auto order history, so a rebill dispute is answered with the customer's complete billing record rather than a single transaction.
No. Evidence packages are assembled from your actual order, delivery, and payment records to match what the reason code requires, rather than generated. The company's AI features sit in its analytics layer, which reviews your dispute history and flags patterns like repeat disputers and problem products.
