The Link by Stripe integration brings accelerated one-click checkout to UltraCart stores by recognizing returning shoppers across the entire Stripe network. A buyer who has used Link at any of the more than one million Stripe-powered merchants can complete checkout on your UltraCart store in seconds, with cards, banks, addresses, and BNPL options already saved to their Link wallet.

Link is built by Stripe and operates as a shared consumer wallet that travels with the buyer rather than living inside a single merchant. Shoppers see Link's familiar branding at checkout, click once, confirm with a six-digit code or biometric prompt, and pay. Link also surfaces stored bank accounts and BNPL options (including Klarna) inside the same wallet, so shoppers pick their preferred payment method without re-entering anything.

UltraCart delivers Link through the Stripe gateway integration, not as a separate connection. Merchants connect Stripe to UltraCart once, and Link is automatically available as an Additional Payment Method alongside Amazon Pay, Klarna, and card payments. There are no extra credentials to manage, no separate developer account, and no additional fees beyond standard Stripe rates. Link transactions settle, refund, and reconcile through the same Stripe dashboard merchants already use.

Link surfaces inside UltraCart's Visual Builder Express Checkout element (checkoutexpresscheckoutstripe), which is bundled with the latest UltraCart themes and can be added to custom themes manually. Like the other Stripe Express Checkout methods, Link is available on standard one-time orders, while auto orders and upsell-after offers route through traditional card payment on Stripe.
