Give the mark room to breathe.

Clearspace is measured by the “U” of the wordmark, the unit we call 1U. Maintain at least 1U of clearspace on every side. Never place text, icons, or other logos inside the safe area.

Use the height of the lowercase “u” as your unit. Keep that distance clear of every element on all four sides.

Minimum size

Below these sizes the marks lose legibility. For print, use the equivalent at 300dpi: 1in, 0.75in, and 0.2in respectively.

Misuse

Six things never to do.

If any of these are tempting, reach for a different asset, not a modification. Email legal@ultracart.com if your use case isn’t covered.

Don’t stretch or distort the logo.
Don’t recolor outside the approved palette.
Don’t rotate, tilt, or angle the mark.
Don’t add shadows, glows, bevels, or strokes.
Don’t place on busy or low-contrast backgrounds.
Don’t crowd the safe area with other elements.

For integration and partnership announcements. Match cap-heights, divide with a 1px vertical rule, and allow at least 1U of space between each mark.

For checkout footers and merchant stores. Use the wordmark, not the full logo. Set “Powered by” in Poppins Regular at 70 percent of the wordmark’s cap-height.
