About MailChimp

Mailchimp integrates with UltraCart to streamline email marketing and customer engagement. This integration helps you automatically subscribe customers to mailing lists, manage cart abandonment campaigns, and track performance through Mailchimp’s robust reporting tools.

Overview

Mailchimp is a widely used email marketing platform that allows businesses to create, send, and analyze email campaigns. When connected to UltraCart, this integration automates customer list subscriptions based on purchases, sends return cart events, and enhances your marketing automation. Merchants benefit from seamless synchronization of ecommerce data and greater control over how and when customer information is transferred.

Documentation / Integration Information

  1. Create a Mailchimp account if you don’t already have one.
  2. In UltraCart, navigate to Operations > Marketing > 3rd Party Email > MailChimp.
  3. Enter your Mailchimp API key and select API version 3.0.
  4. Choose whether to enable Double Opt-In.
  5. Map your StoreFront(s) to Mailchimp list(s), and optionally enable return cart events.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

The standards describe structures that emulate documents, for example purchase orders to automate purchasing. Application Programming Interface (API)

UltraCart provides advanced merchants sophisticated and robust REST-style API for manipulating an UltraCart account. Common uses for the APIs include integration with a custom legacy applications, real-time inventory and product management, bulk import and export of customer data, ad more.
