UltraCart continues to evolve with powerful new features, refined workflows, and intelligent automation. The June 2025 update introduces beta integrations, smarter fraud tools, improved analytics, and more ways to customize and streamline your eCommerce operations. From search to storefront to support tools, every enhancement is designed to help you grow faster and manage smarter.
Integrations
- Veeqo WMS integration enters BETA
Early access now available—contact your Technical Project Manager to join the pilot and begin syncing orders directly with Veeqo’s warehouse system. - FreightQuote timeout increase
The FreightQuote rating engine timeout has been extended to accommodate carriers experiencing intermittent glow times, reducing “timeout” errors during heavy traffic. - Improved Facebook Conversion API logging
Enhanced logging now provides deeper insight into event delivery status and payload issues, making troubleshooting and Facebook Audiences syncing more reliable. - Zoho Desk extension enhancements
You’ll now see the frequency of customer tickets right from the integration panel—and agents can log directly into the customer’s MyAccount area with one click. - EDI 850: reverse “ship‐to” and “bill‐to” names
An option to swap names on outgoing 850 documents has been added to accommodate certain ERP or trading partner requirements. - Facebook Commerce UUID support
Buy links created via UCEditor now support fb_commerce=true, enabling proper commerce parameterization for Facebook Shops publishing. - ActiveCampaign field population
Custom fields in ActiveCampaign can now be mapped and populated directly from UltraCart, enabling richer email personalization via automation flows.
StoreFront & Visual Builder
- Checkout condition by ship‑to country / EEA
Visual Builder now supports conditional checkout flows based on the “Ship to” country code, including EU/EEA detection—useful for VAT or regional compliance messaging. - Canonical info in Admin panel
StoreFront admin > SEO section will now display canonical URL information directly, helping with audit and verification at a glance. - Email token for customer email
A new {{customer.email}} token makes it easier to reference the shopper’s email address in transactional and marketing emails. - Grid layout option for row/itemlist/pagelist
A new “CSS Grid” display mode is available in Visual Builder elements, enabling more flexible and modern layout options without custom CSS.
Item Management
- Fix: image description save issue
Resolved an intermittent bug that sometimes prevented alt text and descriptions from saving correctly on product images. - Auto-select storefront on link page
The link-test page will now auto-select the assigned storefront for faster previewing and testing workflows. - Fix: variation‑item assignment search
Revised search functionality ensures variation items are reliably found and linked, even in catalogs with large SKU counts. - Import/export support for pricing‑tier columns
Bulk import/export templates now include columns for pricing-tier limits, enabling easy management of wholesale and graduated pricing rules.
Fraud & Order Management
- AI insight on failed payment attempts
A new AI-driven enrichment provides context on why a merchant’s payment gateway transactions failed—highlighting common issues and suggesting next steps. - A/R Retry skips fraud‑flagged transactions
Accounts Receivable Retry logic now excluding payments tagged uc_ai_category = fraud_prevention, preventing retried attempts on suspicious transactions. - New fraud rule: gateway response review
Post-transaction gateway responses are now inspected and can trigger a hold (vs. straight approval) when they contain elevated risk indicators. - Display storefront name on fraud screen
Once applied, fraud hold screens show the public StoreFront name (not internal SBT codes)—making it more intuitive to see which brand/customer is affected.
Search & Backend Logic
- Typesense‑powered search (BETA)
We’ve begun internal testing of a Typesense‑powered search experience for back-end order entry. Select merchants may be invited to trial a super-fast, typo‑tolerant order lookup experience. - Order reason enforcement fix
REST API endpoints handling refunds now correctly enforce required “reject reason” fields in specific refund workflows, resolving intermittent errors. - Analytics session_start improved
Under certain traffic loads, the session_start event misfired; this has now been corrected to ensure cleaner, more reliable session tracking ahead of GA4 migrations.
Data Warehouse
- Instant provisioning for linked child accounts
Creating a new child account under a merchant’s enterprise now fires data‑warehouse provisioning immediately—no more waiting periods before ETL begins.
Backend UI Enhancements
- AI Chat Agent updates
Numerous visual and functional updates to the AI-powered agent, including improved rendering on older Safari browsers. - Shipping method UI refresh
Select shipping configuration pages have been redesigned for modern browsers and faster updates—expect smoother navigation and improved field validation.
The UI for creating and managing quote-request-based orders has been cleaned up and made more consistent with the rest of the order management experience.
