About your Free Trial

UltraCart is FREE for 30 days from the date you complete the signup (including FREE phone and email support).  Activation is automatic after the 30-day FREE trial.  Although you can enter your billing credit card anytime you wish, you must have it on file by the end of the 30 days or your account will automatically close.

Setup Wizard

UltraCart makes setting up your store fast and easy! Simply fill-in the information in the one-screen Stetup Wizard and your store will be operational.   Sure, there are a lot of other features and additional information about your store that you can and will configure later on. But the wizard will cover the basics to get you started selling right away! The following will be addressed in the Wizard:

  • Merchant ID - used to identify your store to the UltraCart system.
  • Administrator - username, login, and password for the administrator account.
  • Company - Company name, URL to your website and contact information.
  • Taxes - State Sales Tax Rate.
  • Payments - type of payments would you like to accept.
  • Shipping - from where and what method.
  • Store Items - ID (SKU), Cost, Weight and Description

 

UltraCart Support

You've just signed up for this incredibly great shopping cart deal (or so you think) and then you run in to the brick wall. You've encountered a problem that you're not sure how to solve or where to find the information to solve it. You go to your shopping cart vendor's home page and click on support. What do you find? If you can even find a telephone number, you should expect to be charged a per incident fee or yearly contract just to access support! It's all about total cost of ownership (TCO)! Consider the cost of support when determining what your shopping cart service is going to cost.

UltraCart offers free support via telephone and email, Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5 PM PST at no additional cost. How many shopping carts will offer you complete support during a trial period? Very few!

The UltraCart Users Reference Manual is over 400 pages of helpful documentation covering almost every aspect of the UltraCart platform, new and old. It includes a full Table of Contents and a very handy Index (at the back of the manual) to help you quickly locate that important section. Users can purchase a printed version of our manual at a very reasonable price and we'll pay the shipping (requires log-in to your UC account).

Tool Tips

While configuring many of your store’s back office features, you will notice some bracketed question marks [?] next to many fields within the UltraCart administrative pages. Clicking on these question marks will open a window that provides information regarding completion of that field.

ToolTips

Using these ‘tooltips’ is a great way to quickly get up to speed on how best to configure a field and how it may relate to other parts of your UltraCart account configuration.

Search (help)

We have also integrated a powerful Search Help feature, which you will find located on the top right-hand side of each web page. This will search through our Frequently Asked Questions and our User Reference Manual and display a list of the results.

SearchHelp

Whenever you have a question about configuring or administering your account, simply type the search terms into the “Search Help” field and click the GO button. The unified search results will be displayed in a separate window from which you can select the topic..
